Ryan is currently one of a very small handful of distinguished Welshmen of any generation who can lay claim to playing a significant role in the winning of three Grand Slams in a hugely successful career in his Nation’s beloved national sport.

Now in the veteran stages of a glittering career, this popular rugby champion has consistently displayed great depth of character and tremendous resolve resulting in the award of a testimonial year that will rightly bring focus and benefit to a tremendous servant of the game.
